Since Dani came to MotoGP he was the next "big" thing the next spaniard who would win the championship with ease.
Years went by where he blew it crashing breaking bones or crashing into a teammate who were in the competition for the crown.
If I may say so let Dani do it himself ( he can't ).
For what Stoner goes what should he do close the throttle? He is faster then Dani will be. Stoner is walking away and he won't give a damn if Honda will win or loose the championship.

This isn't doubles tennis they're playing.

Nor is it a two in a boat rowing race.

And certainly not IOM TT sidecar racing where Dani & Casey are two on one bike.

So apart from slowing down & not beating Dani there isn't much else Casey can do.

Finishing in front of Casey won't win Dani the WC.
Dani has to beat Jorge. That's all that matters.
It cannot be expected of Casey to interfere with Jorge's race nor would Dani want it, Casey do it or Jorge cop it.

IMHO it is a bit of a pointless question as this is purely down to Dani v Jorge.
Whether Stoner is 4/5th & they battle for the win or Casey wins & they battle for 2/3rd doesn't matter. Cal, Dovi & Ben could all help Lorenzo why don't we have those polls?

Lastly but most importantly the last races of Casey's MotoGP career are his last chance to win. Pretty important to him when DP & Jorge can do it all again next year & onwards.
Especially at Phillip Island. Can't imagine him doing anything but going for the win. Would be impos

No.
Otherwise if Pedrosa wins, then it will have been less worthy having had help.
I'm sure Stoner will do all he can to achieve his own best possible results, and that alone will have some effect on Dani and Jorge's outcome.

If Pedro wins every race and Stoner 2nd, with Jorge 3rd, Jorge will lose the champ, That's a big ask for Dani, also considering he's never had more than 4 wins in a season.. Hell that's even a big ask for Stoner probably as we don't know how fit he is yet.
... It's going to take a DNF for jorge and I don't think Casey's going to do another Bautista on Jorge.
At the moment Jorge has a big enough buffer that allows him to be a little more conservative.
I'm still pee'd off at the Misano outcome stemming from un-clear rules that cost Dani and the fans a chance to see a closer championship.. Well done Dorna.

Stoner will Help Pedrosa if he likes it or not.. Dani is obvious the fastest guy around atm, i see him winnin all 4 remaining rounds, and Stoner will take a few Second places.. and then it will be very tight. :)

Personally I don't think CS will be in any position to help and I hope he won't crash trying to stay up with DP and JL and the rest, but knowing Casey he probably will toss it down the road.

CS stay home and race V8's so you don't fall over before your retirement.
