Maybe he can finally step onto the podium? Doubt it, he's been consistently slower than both satellite bikes. He's biding his time until he gets out of his Yamaha contract.

The articles containing 'lucky/luckless' and Spies are getting out of hand. Obviously you're hoping to elicit numerous heated responses, but the chicken flew the coup, and they are as boring to read as his racing. Maybe try discussing his mom again to acheive some comments?

Why anyone would want to jump off a factory Yamaha onto a Ducati is beyond me.Someone tried it 2 years ago and look what happened. If Spies had a tough time on the Yamaha, which he did, what is he going to achieve on the Duke?
2 more wasted years coming up i fear.

should have went back to WSK. i think the FIM should make a separate world championship for CRT, that would create more intrest and you would have 2 races in 1 to watch and might get more teams involved, instead of riding around at the back of the pack with not much incentive except pride.

Ben needs perfect track conditions (all dry or wet--no in between)and a high degree of confidence in the front which he didn't have at Aragon as he started the race on a front tire he was unfamiliar with and played it safe. No need for risk taking being #10 on points. The forecast for Motegi is perfect weather. So maybe he can do something but I wouldn't bet a dime on it.

Yup getting properly bored of hearing Crash going on and on about how unlucky Spies is. Yes he's had some bad luck, but he's had plenty of races where nothing has gone wrong for him. By his own admission he's made some rookie errors this year. Even when he hasn't had a mechanical or made a stupid error his riding has been average at best.

@RocketR1 how can Honda "decimate all four M1s"?
