MotoGP » Rossi needs 'couple of tenths' for podium thoughts

“At the moment, we're still missing a couple of tenths with our pace to think of the podium” – Valentino Rossi.

You also continue to attack Casey on a personal level, as if this somehow is intended to get a rise out of people. It's pathetic and actually lessens your case even more (not that you have much of a leg to stand on anyway).

If anything, your posts do nothing but bring injustice to Rossi, which is a shame because he deserves more than what you are dishing out. You are only making him look worse with your double standards and backwards logic.

Next time you decide to devalue the talent of Stoner (or any other rider for that matter), try applying the same logic to Rossi. I know it will be tough, but give it a try. I think you will find you will have less and less to talk about.

A competitor will find a way to
win. Competitors take bad
breaks and use them to drive
themselves just that much
harder. Quitters take bad breaks
and use them as reasons to give
up. It's all a matter of pride.

Vilas,i commend your loyalty but you really are painting yourself into a corner with every post. You say Pedro has exposed the Stoner myth.Well thats funny because Stoner has 2 premier titles to Pedros zero. How is that exposing the myth exactly?
Now if you really want to see evidence of a myth being exposed, look at the results from the number 46 garage at Ducati over the last 2 years.
Need i say any more?

@ CRT

Just for the record, yes Lorenzo was beating Rossi before his mugello accident, that is correct but he wasn't beating him before his shoulder injuring motocross accident (the real reason why Rossi was not himself throughout 2010) was he..

Just thought I'd remind you.

LOL @ VILAS!!!!

He has failed miserably, somewhat like his idol it seems.

Never, many other blind yellow followers have tried and failed with the while Rossi/Stoner 'debate'. So your not the first, and you certainly wont be the last im sure.

Soon there will be no more plastic fans left to defend his failure and exposure of being mediocre on mediocre kit.

Many other riders are the same of course, so dont get your knickers in a twist, its not just Rossi.

Stoner is in a different league to Rossi, that is very clear, and the performance of Rossi over the last two years is clear proof of this.

I think you are missign the point vilas.

The people who are speaking the truth are not all Stoners fans. They are fans of MotoGP and people who fully understand the sport.

These people are unbiased and dont have any axe to grind. They are telling you how it is. Bringing up facts and figures to support their comments.

You are contradicting yourself (the same as the others who have attempted the same as you). On one hand you are trying to dis-credit Stoner for X Y Z, and then on the other hand your giving Rossi credit for the same X Y Z.

Double standards, contradictive, hypocritical..........

Vilas
Do you honestly think that is Stoner was riding the Ducati in 2011 and 2012, that he's be doing worse than Rossi?

If you honestly think this, then there is no hope at all and all your posts from now on dont even hold a drop of water.

Stoner has NEVER been on par with Hayden, so why do you think it would be any different if he was on the Ducati in 2011 and 2012?

So, do you really think this, or is it just your one sided, biased and strange love for Rossi and hatred for Stoner thats blinding you from reality?

Simple question for you that requires a simple yes or no answer please...........Do you think Stoner would beat Rossi if he was on the Ducati?

Have no fear Vilas,we will all be watching 2013 very closely indeed. And when/if Rossi starts winning on the Yamaha again, all the Stoner fans will line up and shout in unison...........
See,he only wins on the best bike!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which is exactly what you have been spouting about Stoner.

Stoner give one bike to Rossi with 3 Wins him 2010 basacly the last wins that the bike could have, then Jump on Honda and have 11 wins, he say its esay to win on the best bikes and then him 2012 he fail Big..

If Stoner fans could have blain the Ducati for he not win any other WC again after 2007 then what they can say of one bike that give Stoner 11 wins and is team m8 is a contender to the title this year even after the problems that Pedrosa had he can still win the World Champion..

How amyzing is Stoner to say that him 2011 didnt take any risk to win the Champion and him 2012 he try to hard and Honda is still the best package..lolo

Get a life at least Rossi never fail riding one Honda and when he fail at Yamaha he allways fight back and win again like 2008 and 2009 and 2010 still beat Stoner after missing races..

Then they try all the probleme is tyres then Rossi never had competicion.. You guys are more moaners then Stoner..lolo
