Still have no idea who i'm going to cheer for next year when Stoner's gone.. Let's see.. Ianonne maybe.. Marquez, not a bad choice..
Hmmm, i hope Stoner doesn't retire permanently. The GP grid will be hollow w/out him 'cos he's set the new benchmark.

"no dave, beating once (be it luck/not) isn't the attitude of the aliens, they win regularly, current season is the best example:
Jorge: 6, dani: 4, stoner: 4,
rossi: -

by your logic, winning once overstate rival's wins is dubious"

Read the comments was stated that vale would ALWAYS be last. That means once is good enough to disprove the statement.

I know that I piss people off using facts but read the posts properly.

Good to see him back, hope he is competitive. Probably won't win but will be close enough.

BTW - all VR fans should re read Lin Jarvis's comments about the return and how their (Yamaha's) priority is to see JL win the championship.
VR will win a few races (just to ensure the sponsor $$$$ kepp coming) but will not be allowed to win the WC, which I seriously doubt he could anyways.

It was written or said so,but was never meant to be articulated so.
just like some of us,seeing Vale's current performance on ducati-even will win one or two, will still say "that's nothing for a calibre of a doctor,GOAT or whatever of names you call him.cheers!!

Maybe so, but then maybe people don't mean vale is a "talent less fraud" but that he has simply under performed on the ducati compared to his times on the honda and yamaha.

Im not a mind reader so I can only go off the words which are typed. Maybe people should read their posts a number of times prior to posting and reflect on what the words say compared to what they are thinking.

Let me ask you one question dave...

What do you think about Rossi's 2nd at misano?

did that prove he still an alien?
did you think the gap between him and jorge was justified?

I'll wait your honest answer
