"but who cares?
one lucky win, one luckty 2nd, one lucky 3rd

in the end its numbers of wins and podiums that count

sorry to hear your hero fading dave! please accept this fact"

Vale is fading I agree (past his prime). This does not mean he is past winning races or championships.

But you have stated that wins and podiums are all that counts, so when vale retires and people compare vale & stoners careers, can you guess who has more wins and podiums?

Also, I like your use of the " " thingies, it almost lends credibility to your comments "almost".

As for artificial intelligence, well i guess that any kind of intelligence is better than none.

"Let me ask you one question dave...

What do you think about Rossi's 2nd at misano?

did that prove he still an alien?
did you think the gap between him and jorge was justified?

I'll wait your honest answer"

Thats actually 2 questions relating to the one topic, so which question "Let me ask you one question dave..." would you like me to answer?

Its really funny how the peolpe that hate Stoner the most are often the most informed. Usually the guys following him on twitter, facebook, etc..........

I for one will miss watching Casey in MotoGP and will most probably not even watch from next year. By far the most talented rider at the moment. He is and will always be the most successful rider in the 800cc era!!

DP and JL have made it bearable watching the races of late but next year they'll have VR trying to ram everyone off when he realizes he can't cut it amongst the younger crowd. Wrong rider retiring at the end of the year IMO.

What's everyone babbling on about? Stoner's going to stack and neck himself again. Either in practice, qualifying or the . He's finished. He was finished when he admitted he did the ol' "win it or bin it" tactic and crashed out earlier in the season. Pedrosa was ahead of him, he couldn't take it, panicked then stacked.

Casey Stoner is going to miss racing like he wont believe!! I think he thought there would be utter chaos when he announced his retirement, but Honda couldn't wait to sign up Marquez and any slight furore sooned died a death and people weren't that bothered!! Casey hates that Valentino still sits on the highest pedestal and can't stand the fact that MotoGP still holds The Doctor is very high esteem as Casey seems to think that honour should go to him! Casey even showed how narked he was when he said he didn't think Valentino gave him enough praise for winning last year - a bit of an insult when Casey has done nothing but slag off Valentino since day one!! Good riddance Casey, I for one couldn't care less where you go!!

I also think Casey is getting out now because he is actually scared of the competition he is facing! Casey can ride a bike there is no question, but he has no race tactics and when it comes down to a race battle, he can't cope with that either. Casey needs a clear track and a bike with exceptional speed because that is what he excels in, pure speed. Racing is a different story and Casey boy can't hack it when it comes down to a good old battle for the front!!That's what a real world champion is all about!!

Well constructed post. Your referencing the wrong book however, instead of the "facts & common sense" you are obviously reading "schoolboy bully tactics"

Take your own advice.

If you think Stoner can't race then IMO you are a poor judge....or maybe your judgement is clouded somehow. For sure he is not the best racer ever but he has demonstrated many times in his career that he can definately battle and race. If you've watched MotoGP for very long then the evidence is there...if you choose to see it.
