MotoGP » Dorna boss talks MotoGP, WSBK

“We think that a championship derived from production bikes that is using 39 engines during one season, and in MotoGP you are using six - to be honest it's not very correct” - Carmelo Ezpeleta, Dorna.

Wrong wrong wrong. Why the hell has this happened this way? Surely it should be Infront taking over Motogp! You know the successfull company taking over the failing one... Or is that too much like logic? As a long time WSB supporter i really really feel like this is gunna hurt not just WSB in the long run but motorcycle racing in general. I hope i am wrong

GREAT!!! They can't even manage MotoGP, now they think they can run 2 world championship series. Hey wait! The country of Spain is in deep financial woes. Dorna is a spanish company. Does anyone else see the problem here?!

Leave WSB alone the 'shows' just fine as it is!! Grand Prix bike racing went down hill when the 2 strokes went home. Just scrap Moto GP but you can't get rid of your cash cow can you Dorna? Nothing to do with racing anymore how can we keep the money coming in is the first thought, has been for a while.
Way of the world, greedy corporations. Not happy to make tens of millions over 20 years they want it in 3 year now like the computer model said.
I've never bought anything because of adverts and sponsors, who does this c@ap work on?? sheeple??

World Superbikes has no Yamaha, no factory Ducati, no factory Honda and Suzuki are a joke. The attendence is pitiful also.

Still, isn't it sad how people pretend World Superbikes is in healthy shape?

Dorna are a Spanish company but not Spanish investment.
FGS were an Italian company who are equally in serious debt, FGS couldn't run WSB so they handed it over to a Swiss company.

They already ruined MotoGP, now they start ruining WSB just not to look better than the "premier category". WSB use 39 engines, MotoGP use six - I'm sure they will bring in a stupid rule like 4 engines per season.
