Ducati def benefited by Cals procrastination. He's good, but not Factory Yamaha good. Dovi is absolutely a factory rider, proven this year in my mind. Makes me think of Sete on the Telefonica Honda satellite team, though Sete's bike was pretty much factory.

Dovi is a good rider, but beating healthy HRC Stoner day in day out is not possible, FACTORY HONDA vs Sat yam? I dont think so, plus stoner has more talent than dovi, It is an honest assessment and i am a ROSSI fan.

Great shot! Problem is, some of the harder brakers, including Dovi, have said that the brakes are shot after a few laps. Will be interesting to see if guys like Rossi and Dovi fade as the race goes on.

Dovi is a great rider, but seems to be missing that last bit to challenge the front runners - kind of like Hayden in the 990 era. Dovi will only with the championship the same way Hayden did - sheer consistency and a bit of luck. FWIW, I am a fan of both Dovi & Hayden.

Dovi is a hair short of joining the Alien status. Great steady rider that doesn't bin it. He and Crutch would have made ideal teamates for Ducati next season. Don't undestand keeping Hayden at all except as a test rider, IMHO.
