Stage nicely set for a grand battle between Jorge and Dani. Good job by both these guys.

Crutchlow did well, now he just needs to NOT crash and finish on podium.

WTF was Spies doing? He was quick, but he was taking some of the weirdest lines through certain corners I have ever seen a rider take.

Then to top it off he had that stupid crash.

Send Spies back to WSBK, what a waste of a factory seat. Both Dovi and Cal are *far* more deserving of the factory Yamaha, but neither have the right 'passport'. Shame.

Yamaha, Lorenzo, where did that 1'44 come from?? Dani needs to up his pace now. Lorenzo clearly in contention now as opposed to what looked in the practice sessions. Stoner, always good to have him back. Even while he was quite slow by his standards today his riding style is an absolute delight to watch, managed some powerslides too, didn't he? Also, even though I don't believe in conspiracies, could it be that Honda has de-tuned-motivated their interest in Stoner? He was really S L O W today. Injury, you sure?

Great qualifying session, down to the wire!! Congrats to Lorenzo, it is going to be interesting how the brake situation developes over a race distance, there seems to be a lot of riders that don't seem to be able to make the brakes last a complete race.
After Lorenzo's lap, i'm most impressed with Crutchlow's recovery from a crappy start of the weekend, almost pole if it wasn't for bike problems. Ducati a big dissapointment from them all, not only Rossi. Casey is showing with his body language that he still not well enough to last a race, why even come back and show that discontent? You got nothing to prove CS, should have stayed at home at least one more week. Anyways, really looking forward to tomorrow's race!!! Enjoy.

Stoner had to return this weekend to get some racing fitness before Phillip Island. I doubt that he is even considering chasing a podium. He just needs some time on the bike. The only real goal he has left is to keep his record at PI intact.

It will an interesting race between Dani and Jorge and the battle for third also looks like being interesting.

Looking forward to the race.
