MotoGP » Moto2: Kallio torpedoed in 'suicidal' Marquez move

“It was a 'racing incident' apparently, which makes about as much sense as Marquez's reasons for trying such a suicidal move in the first place”- Michael Bartholemy, Marc VDS.

@Zaiken If it were simply a matter of having a Spanish passport, how do you explain the ruling after the incident when he knocked Pol Espargaro off track?

I don't often comment on articles but this has left me so angry I have to vent! Marquez yet again takes out another rider in practice in a very dangerous situation and gets off free with no penalty? Where as Simoncelli has a racing incident with Pedrosa at Le Mans and gets a ride through penalty. Marquez incident there was ten times worse and NOTHING for Dorna's little golden boy.

It's pathetic, double standards and if I was a rider I'd be very angry. Tbh, Pol was an idiot for being nice about Marc taking him out a few races ago. If he was smart he could have kicked up a fuss and got Marquez at least a warning that would of seen them have to take action against him today. I hope he gets whats coming to him one day. It's a disgrace the amount of stick Sic used to get from Dorna andf fellow riders while this spoilt little kid gets away with murder!

The moto2 class has been totally ruined by mm And his cronies last year they totally abused the testing causing dorna to put a cap on testing for all teams, he ran Scott Redding off the track and made him crash he nearly kills willarot and gets a slight tap on the wrist. This year he all but runs Luthi off the track in the first race again no punishment and now this incident with Kallio again which has gone unpunished. I will be glad when he goes from moto2 and we can get back to some good racing from that class

Marquez team is favoured by HRC, whichy is whyt it has the Honda source code for the ECU. Notice how most of Marquez race passes are in a straight line, and he rarely has to slip-stream anyone. Spec engines? Yeah, right! It is not all down to lighter weight of the rider. There are other small riders in this class but NONE of them can come from 5 bike lengths behind and pass ANY other rider. Watch a little more closely. And if Kallio's claim: "He hit me so hard he bent the swinging arm" is true, then it is clear young Marquez cares not a fig for his fellow competitors. Perhapos a few of them should run inside him and give him no racing room - out into the gravel perhaps?
