Congrats to Dani. All he can do now is keep winning and hope George has bummer, which is highly unlikely.
Dare I dub Lorenzo the new Wayne Rainey ? Brilliant performance by him in his quest for a 2nd GP crown.
Ben Spies, well. He clearly has issues with the Yamaha's front end. The Ducati 1000 may suit him a whole lot more. Tongue in cheek that one, but stranger turnarounds of fortune have happened.
And half cripple Casey ? Dovi only 4 points adrift of 3rd right now. Nevermind. Stoner did a sterling job.
Malaysia will be kinder to Yamaha and kinder to Stoner.Nice flowing circuit. A drenched Sepang race may be a blessing for him.

C'mon guys in his situation we would take the points. Imagine how bitter you would be with yourself if you chanced it (when you didn't have to) knowing full well that if you dropped it is likely to derail your WC. All Dani can do is hope that Stoner can throw a spanner in the works by pushing Jorge to third of fourth in a couple of rounds.

Pity for Dani but because he is riding very well but once again the Honda seems to be that little bit quicker and it is not solely about the rider...

Why bash Jorge, he is doing what every rider would do in his situation. The odds of beating dani here are very slim anyway, Honda has great acceleration off corners and Dani is the smallest rider. He pulls out an advantage at every bus stop around the twin ring. Facts are dani doesn't win enough to get a championship against the current crop of riders. Motegi just suits him better than the Yamaha.

Dont bash Jorge. Once Dani passed Jorge Dani was setting a new lap record with almost every lap. Jorge's best lap was a 145.7 dani was doing 145.5 one after another. Dani was just much faster today.
