“This weekend marks the anniversary of Marco's death so I'm sure it will be a strange feeling when we all get on track” – Casey Stoner.

It will be a strange feeling for everyone and not an easy time but I am sure Marco would want the riders to push with all the passion they have, just like he did in every race.

Passion was or should I say IS what Marco was all about

Good call from crash removing that comment. We remember simo because he was a great racer and a personality to behold. As racing fans we all feel bereft of a great chunk of the sport we are passionate about. In the end he lost his life entertaining us, and trying harder than most to do so.

Have some respect.

Great ride at Montegi, now a further improvement will silence certain posters who have had a cheap dig, a podium will be nice starter in a 3 course meal leading up to to the main course win at Phillip island.

The loss of Marco was tragic and profound. He had the heart of a racer, and was one to push for the championship in the future. It was a great loss not just to humanity, but also to the fans of the sport. He was one of a very special few who could and was prepared to, ride one of these things at the limit. This means you must go beyond your limit to go faster! I don't see a immediate future of new contenders, especially with the loss of Stoner next year. We could be looking at a Lorenzo- Pedrosa championship for the next few years.
