Good Luck to Fausto and the team this week end.
Over the years you have had some real heartache and deserve some real joy.
Hopefully Marco will be watching over you and give you something to smile about.
RIP Superb Sic #58

Everyone should have a minute of noise to keep the memory of Marco alive, like his family arranged in his tribute. His life was short, but it was spectacular, and he gave his all. We honour him by remembering how he lived more than how he died, and I hope it's a great race that he would be proud of. Respect to his family and friends.

Marco was like a saint and loved by people for no particular reason but for his charm and kindness. all motorsport riders who passed away must be honoured equally, but c'mon Marco was different, he was indeed so special. Rest in peace Marco.

#58 #46 forever.

@mobilnas.
Whilst I understand your sentiments have you not considered that the families of Tomizawa, Kato, etc have asked not to be troubled by media or for things to be named after them etc??? In order that they can mourn in their own way rather than the public mourning that seems so commonplace nowadays.

@mobilnas
I understand what your saying but just remember that simoncelli was the most charismatic rider since Rossi I'm not a Rossi fan complete the opposite in fact but both him and sic where so loved and admired by so many at the start of the weekend I'd be waiting to see what daft thing sic would say or do and then follow it up with his pure electricity on the track this is why for many it still feels like a massive hole is left untouched
I'm not saying kato or tomizawa should be neglected but they just didn't have the same persona as sic, marco was one of few who you really thought nothing bad could ever happen to him I'm still in disbelief it has
RIP super sic #58 you are missed every day

I was and still am a huge Marco fan. The guy was just impossible to dislike. Charismatic of the track, and a hard rider on it. I miss him at every race, and will be the first to say that his departure from the sport and from the world is nothing short of tragedy... but am i the only one to be also thinking.. let it go. Whats happened has happened. i agree that here, yes there should be a recognition of him. but it seems as if the whole season has been spent doing the same. Many others die every day, and its no less of a tragedy. Lay the guy to rest and let his family and friends moarn in peace without dragging up the past at every turn. Sic #58 peoples champion RIP.
