@RSMick - Agreed.
Trying to look on the bright side, I suppose he can be thankful that the collarbone was 'only' dislocated rather than broken as, depending on the severity, he could've missed a lot of the flyaway rounds, maybe all, as they're so close together.

Unbelieveably Aoyama is rumoured to be taking Yonny's place next year, Dorna are trying to find him a slot and the rumour on twitter it could be with Paul Bird.

In all fairness to Aoyama, he isn't exactly slow. But I agree Avintia has been incredibly harsh on Yonny if he does lose his ride next year. One good thing to come out of this, if Yonny does join PBM, he'll most likely be on an Aprilia. I believe PBM are running on in house chassis and one Aprilia chassis next year.

It is a shame if Yonny doesn't make it to the grid next year, he has really showed improvements in the course of the season, and has constantly pushed that bike beyond its limits(that's why he crashed often)he doesn't have much grand prix experience which make his results even bigger accomplishments. Avintia should stick with him next to Barbera next year, and hopefully Kawasaki starts trickling in some stuff for them to use in anticipation of a possible comeback to MotoGP.
