To those of you who say that the 2007 Ducati was the best bike out there. That just makes me laugh Stoners team mate that year was like Rossi a world champion and winner of GPs on a Honda his name. Marco Melandri You can't argue a great talent. But Stoner made him look like a club racer. I was at Donnington that year and Stoner won by a country mile but what was more impressive was that if that race had have been 1 more lap long Stoner would have lapped Melandri

I believe I can slide
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that hospital
I believe I can slide
I believe I can slide
I believe I can slide

keep sliding stoner Its GUARANTEED THAT YOU WILL FLY.lol

"So it only confirms that you have to be on the best bike to win !!"

I thought stoner has already proved that with 2007 & 2011...

"I heard it from a Colin Edwards interview (after he left the works team), that Valentino had it written into his contract that he would get the 'extra' bits that his team mate wouldn't. Colin stated that he actually saw this in Rossi's contract."

Yeh, rossi lets everyone look at his contracts!! Or maybe the contracts are on the coffee table as discussion starters!!

I think it was a stoner supporter on another thread who said they felt sorry for people who believed what the TV told them!!

"I was at Donnington that year and Stoner won by a country mile but what was more impressive was that if that race had have been 1 more lap long Stoner would have lapped Melandri".

Hang on, 2006 both melandri & stoner on satelite hondas and melandri finished year 4th on 228 while stoner finished 8th on 118 (same machinery).

So in 24 months, stoner learned how to ride a bike that he couldnt learn the previous 10 years?

You make more of an argument that supports the "best bike" theory rather than discrediting it!!
