Would that "no hoper" be the same Bradley Smith who is ahead of Marquez as well as Redding on Moto2 FP combined times, despite a fall in the wet second session and being on one of the slowest and least developed bikes on the grid?

You cant compare reddings and smiths performances on a moto 2 machine. Smith is on a 3 year old machine and Redding is on a bike that won the title last year and has had further development for this year. How can you say Smith wont do well next year he hasnt even been on a moto GP bike yet?

Smith's bike may be 3 years old, but it shouldn't be the reason why he gets good starts and falls back as the race progresses - if he doesn't fall off.
Gino Rea has a real dog of a bike, but he never gives up and when conditions are right (wet) he's up in the top 10 - whereas Smith is where ?

Jonno ! think you must be watching different races to the rest of us, Brad has not crashed in a race this year, his starts have been brilliant ( watch out Cal ) and he has finished higher than his grid position in nearly every race. Gino's dog of a bike happens to be a top Suter, so how come he is struggling to get in the top 20, when Brad is always in the top 10. You need to be fast on a dry track not the wet !!! Being a brit I support Gino as well, but it shows how good these Moto2 boys are compared with the ex supersport riders. Brad will surprise people next year.

@Jonno what have you been up to? You certainly haven't been watching the Moto2 races this year. How many top 10 finishes has Rea had this year? None. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. He did get a point in Spain though, maybe you're reading the charts wrong. It was 1 point, not first place.

Look mate Rea started out on a Moriwaki which at least netted him that point. He then moved onto the Suter which was going to improve his results. It hasn't. He's still mostly finished in the twenties when he's finished at all and he hasn't got another point to go with the one he got second time out. Even though Winalot is making a dogs dinner of the season too at least he's managed to score a few points on the Suter. He even managed one of those top ten finishes that you imagine Rea has scored. In the wet of course - are you confusing the two riders?

I know it's his rookie year and he'll probably improve, but so far there's no sign that he's got a great future on grands prix.

So Rea has qualified 22nd and slowest of the nine Suters out there. That's 1.3s per lap slower than Smith in sixth. Yeah that's right Jonno, Rea is so much better than Smith.

Why are there so many fanboys on here who invent their own "facts"? What worries me is that I suspect that they can't all be spotty teenagers posting from their bedrooms.
