If someone in 2nd place who can win 5 races on a not so competitive bike, can simply walk out on a ride, and importantly a contract agreement, it shows nothing less than an unprofessional attitude to racing. The kids 'minders' need a kick in the butt, and the kid needs to sit in the naughty corner for a while. KTM's maybe quick in a straight line but Hondas generally have an edge mid corner and exit from what i have seen so far. And....if 2nd place bitches about a team why doesnt 3rd, 4th, 5th, .....spoilt brat comes to mind.

I am more interested in finiding out if his manager did infact not show him the other proposals, in a sense forcing him to sign for the team again.

Either way, the kid is screwed. Had there been better offers that were not disclosed, and he continues to race for the team, he feels screwed (rightfully so).

If he continues to race he gives the team the satisfaction of knowing they screwed him over.

The only thing (if the above mentioned statements are true) that would be in his control would be not to race.

Either way you look at it, it's a lose/lose.

Vinales found out that other teams had approached his manager with superior offers that what he has, for next season. However, his manager is also the team manager. He did not inform Maverick of these other approaches. And thus, believing that the offer presented to him by his personal manager was the best, he signed. Maverick has done nothing wrong. His manager should be prosecuted.

I love it. Vinales blames the team because he is not in first in the points. Maybe he should learn to ride in the wet and show more consistency. Vinales will have trouble beating Folger and Solom next year.
