MotoGP » Lucky escape for Lorenzo

“In the last lap I almost crashed. I have been very, very lucky because one '0' here would mean the championship was much more difficult” – Jorge Lorenzo.

"they said rossi will be podium contender when raining...
they said rossi is the rain master...

where was he yesterday?"

He was giving it his everything when Lorenzo gave the queue.

The decision looks bad in almost all aspect!
It's obvious that motogp redflag treated differently from moto2, which RD seems to wait until 75% laps completed even when the rain start pouring heavier for several laps in which we could evidently see Syahrin take further setback from the leading trio. Then we all know Lorenzo has tyre issue and already overtaken shortly after redflag (whether redflag is under Lorenzo's signal influence is debatable). It just one more lap requirement to be declared conclusive as the rule stated, which hardly make different in term of safety. From the implication point of view, it's even worse, as a restart would mean 100% disadvantage for Pedrosa.

Post-race riders arguments about the redflag decision has no indication of objection if 1 more lap committed. with Stoner's comment being the most clear that he would be at advantage (although full distance race is obviously not an option).

Was it a conspiracy? unlikely
Was it bad decision? yes for audience

@46 Rossi "MOTOGP SHOULD COME IN INDIA ITS A BIKE MARKET"

They were going to, but since Moto3 replaced 125s, all racing classes are now too big for India.

As a consolation though, Valentino Rossi has loaned 7 of his most colourful helmets for one scene in the next Bollywood blockbuster "Rain Dance, Race Dance".
They are still negotiating on getting him to lend his charisma for another scene in the same movie. Not sure whether Bollywood can afford his fee.

Charisma is an expensive commodity. It cost Ducati over 30 million Euros. But they did get a lot of charisma for that money. Unfortunately, they thought they were going to get race wins. Duh!

@Rossiput Isn't it normal that he thinks about his points (and tyres but his mechanics also have a word to say) and his chance to win the title? Pedrosa is doing the same thing, in case you have memory problems. And Barbera didn't left Pedrosa with only one engine like Bautista did to Jorge so it's normal that he (Jorge) will do everything to win the title, even it's right or wrong, even if you, haters, like it it not. Got that?

Also i must remind you that Lorenzo WON on a WET RACE in Le Mans this year, so Stoner and Pedrosa aren't the only riders who can (although Stoner is better that Perdosa).
I didn't said Jorge can't do it, he picked the wrong back tyre and he said it wasn't a right choice for that amount of rain/water. If he had hard on both front-back, he'd finished in 1st place. But he made a mistake, he's human, got that?
Let's grow some brain cells here, ok dear? (not grew like you wrote, so you should get english grammar lessons, clearly you need some).

He's a better rider with every year that passes, so get used to it. I will say this once again: he will be this year champion.

@The truth hurts I guess you're a man and your comment made me smile. Finally, a guy agrees with me.
I could also teach him about ethics, how not to be closed-minded with a fact that a girl, like me, enjoys watching MotoGP/SBK not only because of men riding bikes (which is so sexy) but also because motorsport is beautiful and full of adrenaline. And also how to be a gentleman who doesn't jumps to conclusions based on my real name.
