It must be difficult for a rider who is so talented, and used to being the best in the field for most of his career, to come to MotoGP, believing in his talent, (a necessary ingredient for success), only to find that there are others even better than him. While he was on a satellite bike he could keep believing that with works machinery he would be competing with the aliens and winning, (as his fans insisted was the case), but since joining the factory team, (apart from mechanical issues), he's had nobody to blame when he doesn't deliver except himself. Although he's had a lot more than his fair share of bad luck this season, looking at his performance over the last two years, even without problems, he simply hasn't finished anywhere near where the bike is capable doing, as Lorenzo shows.
