Awesome idea.

But I think rather than "Stoner Corner", just call that section 'Stoner'...

Bit like they have in the UK at Brands Hatch and Silverstone etc...

Seems strange that someone that young is having a corner named after him, thankfully it's not for tragic reasons.

Would be ironic if he fell of at that corner though during the race.

Well, who knows he changes his mind sooner rather than later.. :)

Not being someone that spends half their life looking up stats,
does anyone know anyone of any rider who won their home race five times on the trot with a possible sixth in the offing.

Are you trying to put the mokkers on him.???

If Stoner does it this weekend that will be 6 at the island. Rossi has won at mugello and catalunya 9x each in his grand prix career. Thats another stat for Casey to ponder.
Now whos the goat

@A Fan.
Me also he really made that Ducati spin out and more so at PI.
I really can't see Ducati ever getting a better rider.

It would be nice though if like another great Mike Hailwood he came back and showed them all how to ride a Ducati.
However sad to say that would be just about impossible as the proud marque once known as ducati has been destroyed by the beloved one who has turned it into a Japanese look alike.
