I say put Cal on it. Dovi is already with the competition. Then give Cal's bike to Josh Hayes. He generated a lot of good press last year and he deserves it for Dominating the AMA This year. He could do well on it building on last year's experience.

Cracker of a photo.

Yamaha need someone who can defend against Stoner,no good putting a rider on that could possibly do 6th to 10th,my feeling is both Tech3s will recieve full updates in the hope that one of the riders can stop/hinder Stoners Honda.

Looks like we gonna have to wait for next year to see how Ben can cope with the Ducati:(

wow spies' run of luck has already carried over into his tenure at ducati by him not being able to partake in the valencia test. hopefully it will dissipate by the time winter testing is over.

Just a thought , and maybe crazy. Call up Bradley Smith and give him the ride in Valencia. He isn't fighting for anything on Moto 2, and he's going to be on this very same factory bike (2012 bike) with Tech 3. Go ahead and let him get comfortable with it now. What's the down side? Yes, he's not deserving , but whatever.

@ "mmn, because he's already been on an M1 and he just gave yamaha a 3rd straight title...? it could happen... wait, it already DID happen."

Oh yeah he won a 3rd or 4th rate title against a bunch of nobodies that deffo qualifies him for a motogp ride! why not put the winner of the Asian series on it he would be about as well respected! oh my sides!

The test rider or Hayes would be my guess for the final race. But in terms of Spies it's ashame he had such bad luck this year because at times he seemed competitive. Hope he heals up and is fit to take on the Ducati next season and it works better for him.
