Yes Jorge we know you'll let Dani pass you and settle for second or third. Just pray it doesn't rain.

If it's a dry race it will be:

1.Pedrosa
2.Lorenzo
3.Stoner
4.Dovizioso or Bautista.

Lorenzo and Rossi were both on fire that day...

Best angle of that pass was shot by an amateur... Is that Lorenzo's dad screaming NOOOO as Rossi goes by?

Jl is there to win the WC for himself and for Yamaha. With his points cushion he'd be a fool to push over the limit to rty and beat Dani. If he has the package and the pace on the day then he'll go for the win I think, but he'll settle for a strong finish otherwise - its the smart and only approach to take.
Dani & Honda are proving to be the faster package that no-one could beat, and only JL could run anywhere near in the 2nd half of the WC (with CS out or not at 100%), so the chances are it'll be another processional race with no real action after lap 1 again at PI (and Valencia). It'll take some outside intervention like another (AB or HB type) torpedo to mix up the status quo IMO.

I recall a lot of championships where the points leader uses his head not to spoil it.

I would make a list available here but these are things people here are supposed to know (obviously not) or just purposely ignore to stir discussion.

Lorenzo not the first to settle for points to not spoil his chances.

Some of you have not been watching motorcycle racing for long I see. Or are just ignorant.

JLo defintely is the main candidate for the crown. He won six times this season when the pressure was not so high. Now he needs to prove the intelligence and tactics. Pedrosa has no otpion other than ride the wheels off his bike. There are many fools or haters who dont see things as they are. The Yam may not be on par with the Honda for many various reasons. One of them is that they are running out of engines and therefore they had to electronically decrease the output of the remaining engine to spare it. Pedrosa allegedly did not loose his engine in Misano. I think Pedrosa can only win the title in case of a technical failure on Lorenzo side.
