If any of you muppets on here would seriously battle for the win and the extra 5 points and possibly crash and end up with 0, then you are talking utter rubbish!

......has a championship to win.....Dani has to win the last two races.....Jorge doesnt!

Some of the comments here are amazing. If Lorenzo goes for the win and bins it, he'll be accused of being a stupid hothead. If he goes for points, he's accused of being gutless. Really.

Yamaha had the edge in the first part of the year while Honda dealt with chatter. JLo rode brilliantly and built a points buffer. Yamaha lost an engine because it allowed an engine to run max revs on its side - an engineering failure. JLo has had to ride around this limitation, and his results have been exceptional.

Dani has come back at him with an engine and frame upgrade, and the Honda has the edge now. Why should JLo risk all the hard work he's put in to give a few unappreciative fans a few minutes entertainment?

Lorenzo should win the title, but DP has done a great job, and his day will come. He has won more MotoGPs than half of all the past world champions, and has the most of anyone without a title. Good luck to both of them.

@Gaz Dani just doesn't just have to win, he has to rely on Jorge making a mess of things. As it stands third and a fourth will win Jorge the championship.

Like you say I'm sure he'd like to put in at least one win I'm certain that he'd rather simply stick in a couple of podiums and win the championship than crash.

what a sad day for Motogp, when we know the podium a week before the race takes place, never thought it would come to this, gotta be the most boring spectacle to watch, watch club racing, full grids, 20 + races, a full days entertainment, no matter who is on the bike as long as it is good close racing,

Jorge will do What-ever it Takes to become World Champion
again!
If that means 2nd or 3rd place so be it.
I think any other rider with a Brain, would do exactly
the same!

May the best-man Win the Champion-ship!!

Hoping for a Dry/Good race on Sunday.

@ kc. Agree the podium is unlikely not to have DP, JL & CS on it. I think the order though MAY be turned around though. CS may be saying he may not have the fitness to win - but you can bet he WANTS to win this one badly. CS has already said that PI shouldn't be too hard on the ankle physically, so I'm thinking he'll go for the win if he feels he can.
I suspect though that the odds of JL finishing ahead of DP are slim - JL will play smart and keep out of trouble - if he can get through Lap 1 intact then his outright pace should enable him to circulate in a safe podium spot with no pressure and with no traffic to knock him off. Job done then, and on to Valencia.
