The human spirit is an amazing thing.
We have all seen Dani and especially JL set FAST laps right out of the gate ,from free practice on - yet Casey posts a full second lead over JL !! The home track , his swan song , to hell with whatever his ankle is doing to him , with this guys SPIRIT that won't be an issue. Go Casey ! Full on mate !

Yep, that is one hell of a thing to be be proud of. Out-breaking yourself. Illegally crossing the white line with both wheels and then smacking onto the side of the other rider. Rossi never boasts about that move and is almost apologetic whenever asked about it. Leguna 08 was significant in that he put pressure on Stoner by pushing his bike to the limit and shadowing him. But in the process he rode a bit ragged and that accidental pass was the result. It was good tactics by him and Mr Burgess but the corkscrew pass was something that would probably attract a penalty if tried now and was not the way we want to see MotoGP riders dice.
