“Casey is going very fast here, as expected, so let's see if it stays dry tomorrow and we can work on the pace and close the gap to Casey” - Dani Pedrosa.

The other two will close the gap. Stoner starts out very well on tracks that suit his machine.

The gap will probably be about three tenths on average lap times at the end of the practice sessions.

But I would not put my house on that sort of bet!

The question will be, can Stoner maintain the pace for the whole race?

THE BIG QUESTION for me is will Stoner ride to team orders and let Pedrosa through to make a buffer to Lorenzo because effectively it's likely to be those three as top 3 and therefore the best outcome is for Pedrosa to win and Stoner to keep Lorenzo in third.

My feeling is this is unlikely as he has nothing to lose in terms of next year and Honda repercusions and so will go for it at his home round.

What say you ?
