It is obvious that Stoner is unbeatable here at PI. I will not call Stoner a one-hit wonder but his superiority at this track is not a correct yardstick to judge his true value, how high it might be. Back to Valencia to gauge his final worth.

(He will win here at PI, with total merit but that will be curtains for Stoner).

@Steve929 you're spot on there. If Rossi had been taken out by an idiot then maybe there would be some justification in saying that Hayden didn't deserve his title, but Rossi wasn't taken out by an idiot and Hayden was champ.

In this case it's even simpler if neither rider is interfered with or has a mechanical then the winner this year will be the winner fair and square. The simple fact is that we have got to this point because Jorge has been consistently faster than Dani. When Dani was getting thirds and a fourth Jorge was getting firsts and seconds. Dani is paying for that now.

With Casey back on it it looks like there's a damn good chance Dani will be stuck on six wins. So those who were predicting that Jorge would be champion with fewer wins than Dani and moaning about it won't get their way. And anyway it isn't just about wins, it's about points.
