@ true fan. Obviously my memory not so good. I thought the bridgestones ( should i say rossi thought) were that much better we had a mid season change and rossi was on bridgestones and lorenzo on michelins. BUT like i say my memory not so good......

Congrats to casey one bright spot in an incredibly average season on the best bike Honda have ever built. When you think neither of his two main challengers weren't on the same bike you have to wonder how he's managed to lose so badly. Casey fans problem is that they want the recognition of true legend but want want it for 4rd or 4th. Great racer at 'his' tracks everywhere else, the other 13 or 14 races 9 time out of 10 easy to dominate. Is leaving purely because of the tyres would be nowhere without the bs tyres.

"My condolences to Dani.." Casey...if u had applied some pressure on Jorge he could have made that mistake, instead u were hounding Dani as if u were in the championship race...:) what an a@#.."I know the crowd came to watch me.." ha ha ha...this guy is hilarious...:)

One thing that would have improved Stoners ride for me. He should have stayed in 3rd behind Lorenzo and tried to hound him into a mistake. He knew that he had the pace for the win, so he could have gone for it later in the race. Jorge, with Casey on his tail and with Dani setting the pace in front of him just might have made him make the mistake instead of Dani.
That way he would have still had his 6th PI win while being seen to be helping Dani and Honda.
It was Hondas only chance of a Title this year, as well as Dani's.
You never know, he might even have turned a few of his critics round.

Casey has retired while still near the top. I hope he enjoys his retirement and doesn't get tempted into a comeback after a couple of years.
