Dear SwissJudge, I have been watching the sport for 20 years. Do you have a problem? This was the best year that Pedrosa has ever had in MOTO GP. It was him who kept the championship thrilling all the way. Otherwise JLo whould have taken in already a few rounds ago. So I really do not get some the animosity of some of you here.

Good on you for giving it a go Danny. You did exactly what Doohan said you had to do and you didn't leave yourself wondering if you gave 100%. This crap about Rossi going well on the Yamaha is a bit premature. Lets just see how the Valencia tests go. Just remember what everybody was saying how fast he going to be on his Ducati debut. This years Yamaha is not what he left in 2010.

@ all the fans / fanatics that keep claiming Rossi as a 9 time Moto GP WC ad nauseum, give it a rest unless you use the stats accurately rather than to inflate his "standing"

He is a 7 time MotoGP champ, Lorenzo 2 for example if you want to use the statistics fairly in that fashion

If you insist he is a 9 time Champ then Lorenzo is a 4 time champ and Pedrosa 3 times.

Can't have it both ways!

@Danny Powell "hard lines dani but it was your fault you should of waited for your tyses to got up to tempeture. lorenzo would of smoked ya anyway he was faster than ya all weekend.oh ya like lorenzo says game over."

Pedrosa might have missed the braking point by half a metre, or leaned marginally further than perfection or carried slightly too much speed for the heat in the tyres, but you couldn't possibly do better. He was riding to the limit early on to try to make a race of it. Tiny errors are all it takes at that level. Get over yourself. Goose.

Completely agree Ivor.
Pedro had absolutely no choice but to go out guns blazing. He had to get away from Stoner and Lorenzo. There was no way on Earth that Stoner was going to let Pedro beat him.Pedro had to try to beat Stoner on his own terms and that was always going to be a hard ask.Stoner owns this track. But it was a shame his campaign had to come to an end this way.He has fought hard and well. Will he ever be champion?
I have to think that time is running out for him.

I don't think so, still have big chance. 2013 he will shine. Yam with vr back will not make them significantly better. Current Honda machine could compete them in stability & manouver. Just need i little bit wise ride.
I like DP, but i'm not his fan.

Can't help but think these unslightly and ungainly regulation "brake protectors" do more harm than good..we saw the same problem with a small crash for Dovi at Silverstone, which like Dani today appeared to damage the throttle/bar. Maybe old uncle Carmelo is on the board at Rizoma...........javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':-o')
