I don't know if I am the only one who noticed this but Marquez rarely out - brakes anybody. A lot of his overtaking is done on the straight or barging through on the corners. If riders like West and Zarco are out - braking him I fear for for him when he comes up against riders like Lorenzo and Rossi, both of whom are demons on the brakes. I feel that this is a weakness that will be exposed next year, especially with carbon brakes.

@ Telly Pathetic Ah I see. He didn't tangle with West because he was afraid. How ludicrous. He didn't seem to be afraid when he put such a bold (and clean) pass on Redding (who is a much more formidable rider) that even made Gavin Emmett comment in amazement. Glad you began your comment with a disclaimer so YOU can draw any conclusion you want.

10% stronger engine? can i ask how you know that seen as there sealed units prepared by a outside company and allocation is done by picking numbers?

Ludicrous huh? You mean like the unverified opinion that 'Marquez didn't battle... because he wanted West to get a much deserved podium in his home race' and then using your wishfully invented notion of Marquez's thought process to conclude that this illustrates his 'empathy and humanity'. Can we expect more or your mystical insights into the mind of Marquez next year? How about predicting the lottery results while you're at it.

I won't predict the lottery because I don't want you to buy a ticket and win it. And yes you can expect many more mystical insights in the future. In case you haven't noticed, most of the comments on these pages are a matter of opinion based on the personal analyses of the writers so I guess you'll just have to endure mine as well. :)

Will probably podium next season may even win one, but one thing for sure will find it a hell of a lot harder to employ some of his more dubious racing tactics against the likes of Lorenzo and Rossi.

Both Marquez and Redding were owned by Ant West on the weekend. I don't think either of those guys would be comfortable having an older dude cut back their lead and then go around them like that.
Marquez's pit crew urged him to take it steady...not so West could get a home podium, but to secure the Championship! Ant West had said the previous day that Marqueuz had some sort of 'trick' bike that was uncatchable. Well that's obviously not the case.
