“It will clearly be a challenge to take them on at their own game but I'll do my best to get the most out of the extra pair of wheels” – Jorge Lorenzo.

Having been a Motorcycle rider, and racing fan for over 30 years, some comments here make me laugh! "Lorenzo" has done well in his comfort zone for some time now,"But" in a way he has been lucky ,he has had no competition from a team-mate for 2 yrs,and this makes a difference! Spies suffered injuries, his teacher left the year before for ducati, stoner crashed this year so did Dani, and to be realistic he has had no threat from another rider. If all the top riders had been healthy all season and the similar machine,s ,the story would be a lot different. Next season will tell all, Marquez on the Honda will be agressive ,as will Dovi on the Duc,and the lads coming from moto 2 will want to make progress quickly, with Rossi back on the Yamaha,he will want to get back to the top"Which he can" And Alvaro is almost there too. Hail "Lorenzo" Your hero, whilst you can,its luck that got him there, next year it will be experience, and he just doesnt have enough. Mark my words,he will lose his comfort zone

simon i to have rode and raced bikes and yet your comments make me laugh as no-one takes a safe option at the speed of these bikes but i also think rossi will struggle to match lorenzo next season as i think lorenzo has come on a lot in the last 2 years but rossi will be up there no doubt as he hasn,t forgotten how to ride a bike he likes very fast .Also will rossi not get the latest updates as quick as the no1 rider just like when he was no1 rider lol

@ Kiwibob. Your making me laugh now. I never mentioned any "SAFE" option, maybe you should read the comments properly. I dont make half hearted comments, and as much as i believe every word i wrote,i also believe that "lorenzo" is a talented guy as is "Stoner" for instance. But a true sportsman has sportsmanship. Lorenzo is a money man,so is stoner, and Rossi is to,yet i am a big of fan or Rossi,as he has the staying power due to his love of motorcycles. There are not enough lovers of motorcycles in Moto gp,look at suerbikes an IOM TT true in the blood bike racers, Mc.Guiness ,Guy martin not to mention the real men decades before them, and yes a different class of racing, but hearts that run off oil. Jorge lorenzo is not in the same class. Look at the history of Nicky hayden and Colin edwards to name a few, true racers, with a love of bikes 1st, money will always come last to a true racer.. Laugh as much as you like, but i know i am right. Ps,I agree with some of your comment, and you make
