Has to be Cortese.

Marquez had a rocket bike.

And Lorenzo, although very solid did not suffer any major missfortunes like his rivals.

But I pick this only based on Cortese's points gap on the others. Big moto3 win.

"Marquez had a rocket bike."

Actually, that isn't the case this year. The 2012 Suter is well known to have fallen behind the 2012 Kalex. The Kalex is currently the bike to have. Of course Marquez gets the best possible version of the Suter, but he's had to scrap.

For this fact, and his talent, I voted for Marquez.

Max Biaggi. How he beat much younger ex-motogp guys and WSBK talents with such a crappy season by half a point is incredible. Maybe not exactly his effort but the major effin up by most of the others tells tales about the actual strength of wsbk racing and why it is so close, why you do not want to take WSBK riders to MotoGP. And that also makes Max a 6-time world champion, 18 years after winning his first 250 championship.

Cortese. Should have won the championship, talented rider good bike etc.

Marquez. Unimpressive for a fly weight to win in a controlled class that has no weight control.

Lorenzo. The most impressive because he beat the mighty Honda, Stoner, a goat and Pedrosa... but then who hasn't beat pedrosa to a championship on the big bikes.

"Marquez had a rocket bike."

It now seems it is under investigation why it was a rocketbike. it seems they were messing with the powersupply of the ECU that is erased when the engine is turned off. and he got engine updates before others did. powering trough the field in one lap and winning certainly raised some eyebrows.
