Really looking forward to Rossi & Marquez having a bust-up.
The kid is quick, takes no prisoners, and will punt Rossi into the undergrowth if he tries to mix it.
That's assuming Rossi gets anywhere near the Hondas I guess.

It's such a shame that Rossi has failed with Ducati. To 'only' do as well as Hayden is just not good enough for a guy who was once at the top.

Id like to know the truth as to whether Rossi has been trying his best or not though. He has admitted himself to not pushing to the limit, which i find totally absurbed for a top level racer, let alone to publically admit it.

He is employed to race and put in 100%, and if he is seriously saying he has not been doing that, then Ducati should have given him the boot a long time ago in my opinion.

I respect Rossi for what he has acheived in the past, but no one can ignore his failure for the last 2 years.

I try not to bring up Stoner in Rossi threads and vice versa, but these 2 seasons of failure for Rossi, different bike or not, being more or less on level terms with Hayden, proves that he is not even close to the level of Stoner. Great rider yes, but clearly not the greatest that people thought he was.

I wonder how much his first "proper" accident has affected him, that broken leg on the Yamaha, whilst he still pushed hard when he came back, it was on a bike he knew and trusted even tho it bit him in he past.

The Ducati he never got a good feel for, threfore he didn't have enough trust. I wonder what stories will come out in the future, did Ducati not do the changes wanted or not. Is there a fundimental flaw that Stoner could work aorund due to ability/youth that a seasoned/older set in his ways rider could not/did nto want to work around. Would Ducati not do the change required, on tried to sort with changing everything else?

Good riddance. Never should have hopped on that bike in the first place. Only thing he ever achieved here was proving that fact that only stoner could master it.

Maybe at that time on Honda, Hayden was still young and without the experience that he had now, speacaly with Ducati that is one bike that he worck since 4 years now!! If Rossi dont feel confidente to puch also because he allready had is crashes that tell him the bike can t keep the way he whant its obivius that to not crash he will be slower and that way Hayden is close and even do best lap times at some tracks.. We will see when he jump on the Yamaha..

I hope he can jump on the Yamaha and right from the star will be making imoressive laps closer to what was done this year.. Lap times that will put him on the top 3 players not on 8 or 9 place

Mack, let's hope Marquez doesn't punt anyone into the undergrowth. You also have a short memory, or maybe new to this sport. I think you will find those in the past that have gone toe to toe with Rossi generally haven't faired too well. Times may have moved on, but we'll see.
