The old saying, You are only as good as your last race.Just my opinion but at ths stage I will remember Rossi as someone who promisedgreat things,bagged the rider of his bike before about not riding it hard enough,then took $30 million EU and then rode midpack and to me didn't look as if he was trying.Didn't want to tarnish he reputation by falling off again.Any of us mear mortals would get fired if we did that.BTW.I am a fan of everyone of these guys who throws a leg over a GP bike.Just my opinion

said it once n say it again, Rossi should have retired after 2010, the dude is just too old now,I doubt Lorenzo pedders or stoner would be at their current level when they're his age.

@adam
I ask you and a few others who have stated Rossi's too old to win, I do believe both Bayliss and Cappirossi were older than him when they won on the Ducati.
Kinda says it all really.

I'm looking forward to the Valencia test so all this speculation about his ability to win again ACUALLY amounts to anything other than just hot air at the moment. At the last Italian round the red beast had been taken round it all year by a test rider who had it dialled in. Stoner was broken, Dani got a robbing by the Laws of Soddomite and Jorge was cruising. So the 2nd place looked better than it was.

What, and I mean it in the best of ways and not some jibe at his followers, will happen if he runs mid pack at best on the perceived reviver of his career?

Honest, fair (no poster insults please) to the above.
