“There's still an outside chance of nicking fourth from Tom Luthi. So, for me, there is nothing to lose this weekend” - Scott Redding.

Redding is certainly at a bit of a weight disadvantage. Even in MGP he would be the heaviest rider at 74kg (a mere 23kg more than Pedrosa). However, to consider Marquez to be a fly weight is simply wrong. He is heavier than Pedrosa, Dovizioso and Stoner in MGP and at 59kg is within 3-4 kg of the average of moto2 riders most of whom are 60-65kg.

Its not a weight advantage or an engine advantage that MM has in moto2, it is a skill advantage. That will reduce in MGP but I still expect him to do well (after the first 3 races when he'll bin it....).

Scott may have more kg but he also has a great race mentality and it wont be long before he is on the top step.

Come on! He seems to be setting his sights on no better than third? In which case he's given up on fourth place in the championship. He needs to score 17 more points than Luthi to beat him in the standings, equal points will give Luthi fourth because he has a race win.

As such Scott's got to be aiming for a win with Tom 7th or lower, or second with Luthi 13th or worse.
