i like nico , but he hasn't even proven himself outside the juniors.
in my opinion it simply makes a mockery of the true legends that hardly managed to retire still walking , and have spilt there blood over and over and have a rap sheet of stats to get there name on a corner .
not nico's fault , i think the total success of the island two weeks ago and the record crowds it brang in has them reaching for a gimmick to try get similar crowds.
problem is the island had a true legend to name a corner after as he retires from an earned career.
the sad state of motogp.

Terol gets a corner named after him, because he's the last ever 125cc champion. He took the title at Valencia, so therefore there will be a corner named after him.

I agree, they should rename corners to legends and not to everyone, but being Spanish and winning the last 125 title at a Spanish track, makes it more logical why.

AS said before, they should name a straight after him, not a corner. After all, that's where he won his races, rather than in the turns.

Terol managed to win a championship only after Marquez left the class as champion and has disappointed in moto2.

Marquez won the 2010 125 championship and is now moto2 champ. Bit more deserving for a corner name.

He is not corner-named-after-him material yet, and after his failure to excite in moto2 i have my doubts as to whether he will ever deserve this status.
