So basically Mahindra have given up on running their own team and are sponsoring Suter? Looks like it when you consider Oliveira is already on a Suter.

Bound to see a big improvement if that's what's happening.

you people are forgetting these guys are pretty new with this stuff.....and whatever they have done till now surely hasnt worked

even preziosi was ready to hire furusawa when they couldnt help solve the ducati's issues....

no harm in learning some stuff from suter before exploring more themself

Aim very desapointed to be honest!! I think Miguel Oliveira is capable of better and also this year he had been with some bad luke at some tracks where he was on good spot, the kid is fast and talente and was on a great bike Team this year the only problem was Honda lack of Power to be allways fightingh with Ktms even Maverick the SuperStar of moto3 struggle.. Now what i can expect for Mahindra?? Will be a nigthmare.. Damm luke

Surely the point is that Mahindra is running its own engine so it's not a badging exercise like the Gilera Aprilias were. It's perfectly understandable, given that they already have their hands full trying to compete with KTM and Honda that they want to make sure they have the best chassis they can. While it may be a risky move for Oliviera in particular, it's good for the future health of the sport that an Indian team is taking part, given the huge market there.
