Aye aye, Sir.... I'll sit back and witness one of the greatest riders in the world, and his masterclass act for the last time. Motogp will INDEED won't be the same without him.. :)

Wylie... they all knew the track had problems, you could see even on TV how bad parts of it were. So, you ride to the conditions, especially as it wasn't even race day. If you don't and you come off, then that is an unforced error. Anyway, 5 mins till free practice!

If it was ok to accuse Rossi of making excuses with his shoulder, then it's just as acceptable to accuse Stoner of the same with his ankle, yes?

It's a good plan though. He doesn't come first, it's the ankle. He does come first, then he's so great, even with an ankle injury.

Win-win for Stoner and those rabid fans of his (of which Rossi also has his fair share).

Once again bolerob you are assuming the riders who fell were going faster than those that didn't. That is not the case. You assume they did something wrong. They didn't. There is a big difference between unforced errors and bad luck. The track was not up to scratch. It was not of MotoGP standard. All of the riders that fell looked at their telemetry and were mystified. Good to see you know better than them.

Not at all. I have fallen off my bike because of my errors, and stayed on despite them. Never blamed the road though. The luck, good or bad, starts from the point of my mistake and ends in hospital or back on the throttle. Assuming his bike didn't fail and he wasn't ridden into, then it was down to him. Sorry.
