re: "I look forward to watching all 4 ducati riders next year."

i'm not. it's gonna be a train wreck. even with audi backing, ducati doesn't have the resources to equally support 4 factory bikes. perhaps if they had been successful with 2...? they could build on that same as all the years/teams in WSBK and BSB. as it stands, they are going to be spread thin and will be figuratively and literally "spinning their wheels" trying to wrangle 4 bikes... all of which will be crap. audi money would be better spent focusing on just nicky and dovi. after burning through obscene amounts of cash, it's ultimately going come down to this anyway.

Sad days ahead for Ducati racing. As far as GP, Audi's $ will support the scientific method for evaluating development of which they will have to rely on Ducati's engineering ...before the pull the plug and retire in 2014 due to lack of results.

I'm expecting an ordinary test result from Dovi on Ducati.

No more worst than Rossi's first Ducati ride. Rossi got worst result due to his over confidence and undermine the riding requirement by the bike characteristics.

bender,

How many riders have won championships since the currect crop of riders (aliens) entered MotoGP in 2007?

Was Dovi in the series on factory equipment? Did he achieve anything noteworthy? He is already a rung below the others and only a fool would expect winning results. He couldn't do it on a Honda but will somehow challenge at the front on the current Ducati abortion of a MotoGP bike?

Your turn at the knob...

Dovi don't listen to the Sad Sacks - just ride the Ducati without fear as Casey did and surprize. Rossi was simply scared to take it to its limits.
