5 Suter in the top 7. What did someone say about only Marquez being able to go fast on the Suter?

Marquez is fast & talented etc. But 2 out of every 3 years some guy moves up, anticipated as the next big thing. Then, 4 times out of 5, he settles in somewhere into the top 12 and we are already looking for the next one. Rinse & repeat.

It's like we are schoolgirls swooning every time a new guy moves to the school. THIS particular new guy already demonstrates particularly huge jerk potential. How about we suspend worship until we see how he comports himself on the big bike?

What a load of crock, The Old Man. Way to draw conclusions out of one single qualifying session.

Looking at the whole season, the Suter chassis has been consistently beaten by Kalexes. Save Marquez.

And name one guy in the last 5 years who's had so much buzz (and succes) as Marquez and then drowned in the big class. Seriously, name one.

One very possible explanation is simply that Marquez's Suter isn't the same as the rest. Eskil Suter broke his contracts with other teams to give them the samee machinery and support as Marquez last year and it's highly likely that Marquez is receiving much greater support again this season due to his favoured status as Repsol's chosen one and huge financial backing. He's certainly had a lot more testing time. He had 3 full days dedicated to him alone, testing with Eskil Suter before Indianapolis, while Luthi was only there for the last day.

supposedly bradley is doing well on a crap bike. Makes you wonder why tech 3 is in moto 2 then? Smart management, sign for long period when you are at your peak! He is a likeable kid too, I've met him multiple times. and the passport helps!

@meangombine
Because a man called Herve poncharal (not sure who he is or quite what he has achieved some one told me he happens to run the most successful satellite team in motogp and ran a championship winning team at 250 level and has an eye for talent but I'm not sure who the hell he is) saw reason to offer him a contract
