Pedrosa should have held it tight in PI...A 2nd there would have had Lorenzo crying now! Anyway...roll on, 2013...and most importantly, this Tueday. Lets see what's what.

Highest points ever attained by a runner up, it really show how the races were dominated by the three aliens. I would say it's not the fastest who won championship, but the most consistent.

Lorenzo: 1 crash by other, 1 crash by his own
Pedrosa: same

Maybe next year we saw three spaniards controlling the podium, who knows. I just don't think Rossi will be at front.

We'll see what happens next year...I just hope to see a lot of people on this site with egg on face eating their own words. I also hope the racing is a lot less mundane and predictable

Bring back the tyre (that'd be "tire" for the US peop's) wars I say!!

2nd ride Pedrosa had the best bike and no teammate, and he managed to lose the championship...

Pedrosa is 18 points down, but the assumption that 20 points in PI would've given him the title here is an illusion. Jorge would've ridden a lot more careful today if the title was on the line. But what would've happened then is another matter. We'll never know. IMHO both riders would've made more than worthy champions this season. Lorenzo finished 16 out of 18 races, either in first or 2nd. That's outstanding. Pedrosa on the other hand scored 7 wins with awesome displays in all of them and dominated the second half of the season.
