“My team are like my second family, we've been through a lot of ups and downs together and it's going to be difficult not to see them every week” – Casey Stoner.

As a rossi fan, i can say that stoner ears to be called a legend! Never seen a guy ride a bike like he did! Unique style, unique talent! Case closed!

Hope rossi does well on the yam tho...

Rossi fans say Stoner did nothing for the sport... Sure he "didn't". He manhandled the Duc, he blasted everybody at the island, he went on the Honda and was instantly fast, he was always a contender, and got Ducati the sucess that enables it to not just be a SBK icon... but no, i guess Stoner should have dressed up as a clown or a chicken, and sell a lot of yellow t-shirts to 8 year olds, who will quit watching anyways after he retires, while filling the pockets of Dorna, in exchange for special treatment and media bias... yes, shame on you Mr. Stoner, for being a true racer...

a legend is termed when he does something for the sports,list out what special he did except high side falls and jumping from team to team on a safer side...

moreover a young career doesnt create any legend....in the late age also shows magic tats counted for being a legend, this is nonsense....thank you for taking lots of moankers out of gp

Let face it,personality aside casey's career was mediocre at best!
He won races,he lapped fast,he even bagged a couple of world championships but that dont make him a legend.
Even the broad siding round bends,have none of you fanboys seen carl fogarty race?
Rossi got so far in the lead on phillip island he spent the last two laps showboating and lighting up the rear tyre!
Even fellow aussie gary mcoy was better at the sideways stuff!
In the words of shania twain"he dont impress me much!!!"
From the perspective of a moto gp fan he will be remembered for his total disrespect of the sport and everyone in it,not for his poor achievements,given his massive opputunity to do much better!
Please go fishing race your hillbilly v8s and be happy......a change is as good as a rest

Yeah that's right. What would Lorenzo, Dani and HRC know.

Personally I always believe random keyboard warriors on crash over world champions and highly successful GP constructors. Lol!

@ who knows

Not really shocking at all. The amount of updates to the Ducati was huge this year. Nicky said the bike was more comfortable, just because he has had more bad luck this season as compared to last doesnt mean anything...

On his performance this season and in this race, does Casey deserve to be talked about at all if this was not his last race? The man has been pretty much average, to say nothing of his despicable personality. What a pity that the attention they truly deserve is somehow getting taken away from Dani and Jorge, the true class acts of this season. All this rubbish talk about a "legend"? Come on, what are you guys drinking? Already tomorrow, no one will really be talking about Stoner, never mind next year or the one after that.This what you get for being such an insufferable moaner---you end up as a whimper!

@Worsethanoob.
anyone who spends there days boppin to shania twain couldn't possibly enjoy anything about stoner anyway.
probably not even the racing itself .
i recon you'd love him if he did a dance battle with a dozen scantly clad men after each win eh lmao.

@Powester you are right.
The Ducati Rossi is on now is considerably different to the one that Stoner handed over after he'd just WON on it 3 days earlier! The EXACT same bike that Rossi went 2 seconds PER LAP on.
Nope, the bike Rossi is on now is the one he "developed". This one is so bad he gets LAPPED on it!
