@Porcupine.It could just as easily be argued, what kind of a legend fails to win a single race in two whole seasons whilst fully fit and on a full factory bike?
You see,it works both ways.

CB, No, it doesn't. Facts are fact. Casey had two championship years and a strong second place year. The rest? Meh. Now, would any but the best (the true legends) be satisfied with Casey's career? Of course they would be. Yet the true legends would not, and that is why they have attained legend status. Plus, whatever Vale did or did not accomplish on the Duc, he did not (as Casey did) fall off the Duc (Valencia 2009) before the race even began. This gaff alone should disqualify Casey from legend status while at the same time elevate Casey to doofus status.

Porcupine,Rossi did not achieve anything for Ducati at all.Stoner struggled there for 4 long years and achieved much.Yet you want to dismiss his entire career because he fell off at Valencia 2009!

Any keyboard warrior that feels they can criticize Stoner or any other rider for that matter for doing their job just needs to grid up next year and show us and the rest of the grid "how it's done".........yeah that's what I thought.
Have a nice day

@ Twizzy

Yep I sort of know what you mean, but until the day I see some one tipping a table into Phillip Island turn 1 @ 200+ kph I will have to politely disagree. Just a little bit of a stretch I believe.
