@ there there

2006 Rossi & Pedro (no Jlo til 08)
2007 No one (no Jlo til 08)
2008 Rossi
2009 Rossi, Jlo & Pedro
2010 Jlo, Pedro & Rossi
2011 No one (no MM til 13)
2012 Jlo & Pedro

...are you suggesting the FIM points tally records have been "fudged"? because the number dont lie.

What can be manipulated is perception which the moaner brigade try time and time again with the head to head race wins stat. Head to head seasons end ranking tells a different story.

You keep telling yourself that Dave. Rossi has actually been asked to hand his trophy's back. It's now patently clear that unless he's on the best bike by a mile with special tyres he gets flogged. I mean come on Dave, he just got lapped, and smashed by the CRT's. You need to face reality mate.

"On a bike that Rossi is 2 laps off the pace on and now getting lapped. Stoner has dominated Rossi to the max. You know it and all of MotoGP knows it."

...if you round down instead of up, its 1 lap off the pace...

...rossi fnished higher in the rankings 4 out of 7 head to head seasons so stoner dominating is simply another perceptional myth...

...All of Motogp wants rossi at the front again and didnt almost yawned when stoner announced he was quitting...

@Reality,

Lets wait until after Tuesday testing before we jump to conclusions.

As for handing back his trophies, drona don't have enough left in the kitty to build a cabinet big enough.

As for best bike & tire match...2007 champion proved thats the reality, nearly all champions (except for hailwood i think) fit that bill.

Not a myth Dave. Google the AMCN article. Head to head Stoner has smashed Rossi. And on a bike that Rossi gets lapped and owned on.
Fair enough you want Rossi at the front. I wouldn't say all of MotoGP. I'd hazard a guess many are secretly smiling at Rossi getting his comeupance. Never has a rider been so badly exposed and owned like Rossi.

Goodby Stoner, you have given us some awsome racing and for all you detractors, if he wasnt the most talented of the riders including his team mate, why would his employer HRT ( who have all the data)have offered him 15 million to stay , more than any other rider or F1 driver,in the history of Honda.
How many of you would have turned down that sort of offer if you didnt enjoy what you were doing.

Here you go Dave. "Stoner has dominated Rossi by 37-26 race wins head to head since 2006".

Google: Stoner Rossi head to head. Click on page 3 of results. Check the m.news article.

He's also acheieved this on a bike that Rossi gets lapped on. If Stoner had been on a bike even half as good as Rossi's bike then Rossi would have zero wins.

There was a clip on Youtube of Stoner sideways on the apex ripple strip of turn 3 philip Island from 2 weeks ago.....it had 105,000 views and now it is gone.

Does anyone know where this can be viewed? it was titled "Casey Stoner curb slide"

DAVE
You may be right about Marquez,he is coming to a winning race bike, and a top team. Can he mix it with pedro and jorge and rossi for that matter? time will tell,we will know by this time next year,if all the upcoming hype that surrounds him comes to bear,he will be under enormous pressure to perform. can he handle it? time will tell.cheers
