@petrol wouldn't you agree though that his podium was due more to luck and factors outside his control than his skill? Sure he finished the race but this podium was mainly due to extremely good luck much unlike what has happened to spies this season. The fact that he got a podium in only 2 races this year while spies hasn't had one all season is kind of pathetic. Hopefully a new manufacturer will bring better luck for spies.

No I wouldn't agree. When a rider falls and is therefore passed by following riders then the following riders were better than the fallen rider.

That's racing. All that counts is your final postition.

Everything else is just BS.
