Moto2 runner-up Pol Espargaro was a familiar face at the top of the post-season test timesheets at Valencia, ahead of fellow Kalex riders Julian Simon and Mike Kallio.

Wasn't Gino Rea more up front with a Moriwaki-ohlins though? Or have I got that wrong? Either way though, I understand why they would want to further their own country's motorcycling technologies, but it just seems so pitiful for their riders.

I hope next year's Tech3 bike is better than the 2012 model, otherwise Danny Kent is going to struggle for results. I wish him well and also the other Brits - especially Gino Rea. I really enjoyed him sticking it to Repsol Marquez in the wet on Sunday.

@Rocko You're assuming that Moriwaki won't have something new for next year. Things move quickly in Moto2 after all. A Moriwaki won the title in 2010 with another in 5th (IIRC), by 2012 they were nowhere.

Does anybody think Honda would associate their name with a losing team? Expect that Moriwaki chassis to not have one bolt in common with their 2010 iteration.

Just remember the Suter was the bike to have in 2011 but the Kalex dominated 2012 (aside from Marquez), even Luthi fell behind by mid year.

I hope they can get the Moriwaki up there so there is more to Moto2 than the Suter and Kalex.

@someone Suter was by far the fastest bike. When other teams realized Suter was going to give their best shoot only on a single bike with Marquez they all jumped boat. So I would say Suter dominated the 2012 or do you serious believe Marc Marquez is a second faster rider than all other Moto2 riders are we saw way to often on Sundays this year.
