I'm genuinely sorry to say it but a quick scan through this thread had to lead you to the conclusion that the Rossi factor had done nothing but attract a band of narrow-minded, ignorant (in all respects), disrespectful hooligans to motorcycle racing.

Mr Ezpeleta might be rubbing his hands for now, but I fear the sport will ultimately pay a heavy price, and that's what really saddens me.

These comments boards crack me up. Why are people so needlessly aggressive?

People are having a go at one poor guy who has merely commented (truthfully) that Marquez will get extra test time. All the rookies will - why are people having a go at him for that comment? Jeez.

And anyone who calls Rossi a fraud etc, is an idiot, or has only watched MotoGP for 18 months. IMHO he has lost the edge he once had as his career is coming to an end, but whatever, all sportsman get old. Look at Schumacher.

But Rossi is still a NINE time world champion. You don't win a single world title by being cr*p!

Grow up.
