Don't forget, you can't actually compare between two different wet days due to various aspects like wind, rain tension, temperature and others.

A really good times comparison would be between Rossi and JL, if JL makes us the favor to come out and test today...

Guys you are all getting waaaaay ahead of yourselves.

There are not just dry or wet conditions. Once it becomes 'wet' there is an ever changing array of conditions that make the 'best lap' times you are seeing completely and utterly meaningless.

You might as well pull names out of a hat to see who is going well. The fact a guy who has been retired for a year and hardly ridden has lapped 20 odd seconds faster than other current riders says all you need to know.

@ ifumi

He is behind Hiroshi... And there are no other Aliens on track...

Furthermore, comparing his times now, to Dovi in FP1 is POINTLESS!
In Fp1 there is minimal Bridgestone rubber on the surface and the guys are feeling out the track they haven't been on in a year. Whereas now, there is a whole weekend's worth of rubber on the track, and they have had 4 sessions plus a race in the wet... We can only truly measure on a dry track after a whole day of testing...

@wsbk fan

Well Marc, Dai and Jorge must still considering themselves the aliens, so they need no silly wet parade.

The rest who stayed are not have media "commitment" or they just smart and experienced.

There is no rubber on track, it is peeing down with rain. Lost count of the amount of times of the years commentators in F1 and and bike racing state that the track needs to rubber back in after it rains. However, you are right that you cannot compare apples and oranges :)

We are expecting our first baby in about a month but other than that there is nothing else i am more excited about than 2013 season getting started and seeing how this all pans out. For the show we need Vale to be competitive, whether you like him or not :)
