Considering Hayden is quicker than Dovi and Hayden and Rossi used to lap the same times.........

I don't think this is representative of the true speeds of these bikes. Unless Ducati has made massive strides on this new bike, then expect them to qualify around the same as before.

Thing is though Dovi has joined Ducati leaving Bradley and Cal in the Tech 3, lets be honest Bradley is a useless **** so that is like taking one grid off the bike. Then you have Stoner leaving and the new Honda rider seems to be well slow for the time being so that is another rider off the grid.

With two riders gone from the top teams that gives Ducati an extra two places.

Can people read the whole post and not just look at the times?: "UPDATE: Moto2 champion Marquez got to within 2.1s of Pedrosa's best lap time (now down to a 1m 33.7s) at the end of his first seven-lap run on the RC213V."

Tbh for as long as Hayden is infront of Dovi it is business as usual for Ducati. We all know Hayden and Rossi were lapping the same as each other with Rossi being stronger in races. So until Dovi can prove he is much faster then he cannot ride the Ducati either.

If you look at who should be up there, there are Four bikes that aren't there that were during Rossi's Ducati Era... The other Tech 3 ridden by the useless Bradley Smith, Two Yamahas until Ben crashed out at least and a Honda.

So that really puts Hayden in 8th and Dovi in 10th.

@Miffy

Dovi has had only a few laps in the dry and you already expect him to be faster than Hayden?

He's just 1.3 seconds off Rossi's qualifying time. That's a pretty good start, if you ask me.
