Also Dovi was nowhere near as good as Rossi in the past so why should he be good now? He was given the chance on a Honda and always came third behind Ped and Stoner and could never fairly beat Rossi....

So I don't understand why people expect him to suddenly be faster. Cal is faster than Dovi, he just crashes out too much or struggles to overtake lol.

Regarding Dovi: Since when is a 1min 36sec lap at Valencia "fast"? The conditions suck, which makes it easier for the Ducs to be closer to the front - this has always been the case.

As a Dovi fan I really hope he can adapt his riding style to really push the Ducati. He has done well with the Honda and Yamaha, but reality is those are the two best bikes.

Doesn't matter though they're still a second off the race pace set by Ped which the Yamaha can keep up with and Tech 3s arn't that far behind.

Still puts them 6th and 7th.
