When Smith called it a day, with about 15 minutes to go, he was the fastest of the three Moto2 graduates. I'm guessing that was on worn tires, since Marquez and Iannone leapt forward in the dying moments of the test. I'm impressed with their performances. Maybe 2013 will be worth watching after all.

@ Sorry Dude, perhaps you either can't read of just a hater, Smith acording to the times in this story is only 0.5 off wonder kid MM on the full factory Honda, Yes they are both getting to grips with their prospective rides but thats not too shabby considering.

Went to the test today. Conditions were not good, damp patches. Dani looked by far the quickest so not surprised to see his times. Pirro caught the eye as did Dovi not bad for his first ride on the bike. Marquez colour scheme looked amazing. He was def the last to brake at first corner. Can't wait for the season to start already.

I( was expecting Ianone to go reasonably well as he has already had a dry test on the Ducati so will already have a base line to move forward from and will already have a feel for the tyres and the handling of the bike.

@ Bazx7r

He did say these are early days?. FGS there was a smiley in that comment. I dont seee any hate or lack of reading skills in that post from @ Sorry Dude.

Conditions improved a lot towards t end. So thats going to reflect if some riders went out later & others didnt. Not reading much into this. Pedrosa was going to be a head above everyone else (no pun intended).. Shame Yamaha went to Aragon.

They were riding slick tyres on a dry line like Sundays race so the times are comparable. No denying that in similar conditions Hayden and Dovi went faster than the Ducatis in the race. No trolling. Just stating a fact.

@ Sorry Dude & Alfalfa

Sorry My Bad didn't equate the smiley to that part of the post but if he's only .5 of MM the maths still dont add up to him being "waaaay down" does it?javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':?')

Bazx7r....I was referring to the end times @ 17.03 local time and there is a gap of 2.216s from pedrosa to Brad thats all. I can read and i don't hate on any motogp rider. I was only stating the truth and besides that, i am a logical kinda guy and as said it is only early days.

Wylie there were "odd patches" of damp track today, and as for the ducs lap times being quicker today than sunday race times, they should be as they were quicker than the fastest lap by Lap 12 Dani PEDROSA 1'33.119

"just stating a fact there mr troll" :)

The difference was 1.135s in the end from MM to BS which to be honest is a fair assumption as MM was phenomenally fast in Sunday's moto2 race.
Personally i'm not over keen on his riding style as i feel he may cause a few unnecessary accidents next season.
But hey! lets face it motoGP needs something to spruce things up.
