GOOD. I want to see this guy on a good bike purely for the sake of watching him ride. The way he looks on the bike reminds me of Schwantz and sometimes Stoner. If given support like this I think he can be up there.

Im happy to see such a talent get rewarded with factory hardware, i know he is going to be a real contender and he is going to give the repsol boys a run for their money i just hope that politics do not get on the way between himself and the factory repsol team.

Good for Bradl! He's a silky smooth rider, but he needs to get some extra mojo - he's still binning it a bit too often, especially when the pressure of being near the front is on.

Thanks for the disagree, but he has four DNFs this year: once out of 6th (Sepang), once out of 5th (Assen) and TWICE he threw away 3rd place (Aragon and Valencia). He needs to podium consistently, or at least be a threat, before any talks of regular winner can begin.

I'm not being a hater, just stating the facts. 1st and 2nd are far too often runaways, but 3rd can often be a scrap. He'll need to win some of those, and it won't be easy with Rossi and Marquez on competitive machines.

We'll see what he's got.

@888

Simoncelli crashed more often, even in his second year and back in the day they could choose between more tyres. (various soft and hard tyres)

The Honda bosses were impressed how Bradl handled the hard tyres. (difficult for a rookie to grasp the concept and understand, that's why rookies often gone for the softer option)

Also, he finished 8th in the championship. Just like Stoner in his first MotoGP year at LCR.
